♦ Introduction;

Before we begin, I want to address the llamacorn in the room – yes, I already started a 100% playthrough (Run Girl, Run) but I’m not happy with the sim or how I started it, so I scrapped that idea and have decided that I’m going to start over. With toddler, child and teen traits to experience, I decided to start this playthrough before my super sim is born. That is to say, I started playing as her mother and set up a story told from the perspective of the super sim herself. Not sure how that’s going to go, but here we go lmao

♦ Information;

Storming Through Life is a super sim/100% playthrough. If you’re not sure what that means, let me explain. Super Sim refers to maxing all skills, completing all careers, and aspirations. You can find out more about it by watching James Turner’s Super Sim Challenge on YouTube. A 100% playthrough builds on the Super Sim challenge by also adding all collections and in-game achievements. All of this will be done with one sim who will be “immortal” but everyone around her will still age.

Hanafubuki is my playthrough of the Not So Berry challenge! If you didn’t know, the term “hanafubuki” is Japanese for “flower storm” which is basically when flower petals fall from the trees and catch the wind.

Baby, Rest in Peace is my playthrough of the Black Widow Challenge. I started this ages ago and I was nearly finished. I had SO much fun playing it, I loved my character, and I had the ending decided and ready to go… and then I lost my save and couldn’t continue it T_T)/ So, I’m going to try again and see if I can recreate the magic from the first playthrough.

♦ One Shot – One Life Challenge (Info & Toc)

♦ Introduction;

One Shot is my playthrough of the One Life Challenge by jonquilyst. When I saw this post, I just knew I had to tackle this challenge! The fact that everything is randomized really got my attention and it makes it so that loads of people can play and all have varying experiences. One thing I struggle with is trying to figure out how my sim’s life will go, their family members, children, etc. So, to have a challenge that helps you figure out all this stuff via fate (aka a random number generator) is really great! I hope you enjoy and don’t forget to check out the challenge for yourself!

I took it a step forward and have decided to completely randomize this sim including the traits, aspiration and career! This sim truly is a fate baby haha

♦ Synopsis;

Hello dear reader and welcome to this tail. My name is T and I am a scribe. My kind exist for one purpose – to document the lives of all who exist. After all, every one has a story to tell and lessons to teach. With so many sims in our world, it can be difficult and my kind have been stretched thin as of late. We do our best, however.

One week ago, I was given a new assignment. A young girl was soon to be born and I was to be her scribe, writing the story of her life. I am not allowed to interfere, just observe and document. This can be a tough job, to be sure, but I have been a scribe for many years now and have documented many stories in the past. I have learned that nothing good comes from interference. We are not guardian angels or spirit guides. We are simply writers, sim watchers.

I can only hope that my new assignment will grow to be a wonderful person who learns from their mistakes and can accomplish everything they wish to before their time comes to an end. No matter what path she takes, I will be there, forever watching. Forever documenting. Her story will be known, no matter how small or large of an impact she will make.

♦ New Newgate Prison, Prison Challenge (Info & Toc)

♦ Information;

New Newgate Prison is my take on the Prison Challenge created by James Turner. I can’t promise that I’ll be following all of the rules listed, especially since James himself broke/amended the rules multiple times in his own playthrough. I still haven’t decided if I’m going to add prisoners over time or if I’m just gonna add them all in one go. At the start, I followed the rules and have started with one prisoner. Who knows if that will change c:

♦ The Story;

Crime is on the rise in Simtopia and prisons are reaching capacity. In order to get ahead of this, the government has decided to create three new prisons across the globe, one of which is the New Newgate prison in Henford-on-Bagley. These prisons are for prisoners who have lesser charges, such as theft or vandalism, so security is pretty lax. So lax, in fact, that the only guard there is the warden himself, Bradly Jansen.

The government is not one for spending excess money without knowing that their investments won’t fail. This means the newly built prison is, quite literally, a dump. The cheapest furniture, a lack of wallpaper or flooring, and a lack of amenities to house new prisoners. Bradly is given a task to complete.

Not only is it his job to keep the peace at the prison and ensure no prisoners escape, but it’s also his job to rehabilitate the prisoners by having them work. All money earned will be put directly into making the prison a better place. If he succeeds, surely the higher ups will recognize all of his efforts and finally appoint him as a detective, the dream job he’s been chasing since he was ten years old.

Being the cheerful sim that he is, Bradly is sure that it won’t be hard at all and that he can connect with his inmates, forming lasting bonds as he helps them become reformed. He has no idea what he has signed himself up for…

♦ The Intro & Info;

Stuck in their Shadow is an official Sims 4 scenario. It’s not the first one that I’ve ever started, but it is the first one I’ve ever finished! I’m a bit upset that I didn’t create more conflict between the main characters for the story’s sake, but I wasn’t sure if the scenario itself would create those opportunities. Spoiler: it did not lol Scenarios are cool, but they definitely leave much to be desired. Without further ado, let’s get into this~ Also, I should mention that I changed the look of the main sim because I wanted her to be unique to me and my playthrough.

♦ Cheaper by the Hundred, 100 Baby Challenge (Info & Toc)

♦ The Intro & Info;

Cheaper by the Hundred is my 8 millionth attempt at conquering the massive 100 baby challenge. If you don’t know, the 100 baby challenge is just as it sounds – your sim is tasked with having 100 babies with 100 different sims! I won’t be following the rules to a T because I want to actually be able to finish it this time, but here is a few rules I’ll be attempting to follow:

1) Can not have kids with the same sim more than once.
2) Can not have a job. Must earn money via hobbies and collectibles.
2.1) Self Employment and running a business is allowed.
3) Toddlers age up when all skills are at least level 3.
4) Children and Teens age up when they get an A in school.
5) Traits will be chosen randomly.

♦ Star Walkin’, Rainwater Legacy (Info & Toc)

♦ The Intro & Info;

Star Walkin’, Rainwater Legacy isn’t really a challenge but more of a casual playthrough. I’ve been inspired by James Turner’s Bigwallet family and I want to do something similar. With this playthrough, it’ll be more based on the sims and what they do rather than trying to build a story and force them to conform to that. I’m basically gonna let them run wild and just document what they do!

I’ve also decided that I’m going to be pack specific. That’s to say, each generation will focus on one pack or expansion and I can ONLY use things from that pack and any before it. So, for example: generation one is the base game. I can only use things that came with the base game – traits, careers, clothes, furniture, etc. However, I’m not excluding things that were later added in patches. That’s way too much to keep up with. I’ll be following each pack in order by release date, which you can see below.

This is a rags to riches style playthrough, just like James’ Bigwallet family, but there’s really no strict rules that I’m following. However, each generation from 2 onward will have their traits and aspiration selected randomly from within the pool of available ones.

♦ The Intro & Info;

Run Girl Run is a playthrough inspired by Call Me Kevin and his his legendary cult leader, Jim Pickens! I wanted to have a single sim that goes through everything in the game, completing it to 100% so I decided that she was going to be an “immortal” sim like Jim, interacting with the world and tackling everything it has to offer! Will she end up becoming an infamous cult leader as well or will her story take a different path? Only time will tell.

The title comes from the song “Run Boy Run” by Woodkid. I chose this because it’s a nice song, the lyrics fit and because it reminds of Five Hargreeves which makes me happy.
